Zoe Boni

Zoe grew up calling two of the world's best chainsaw carvers "Dad" and "Uncle Randy," but she was out of college before she tried her hand at it. After earning her degree in communications and public relations from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, Zoe travelled and became certified as a Wilderness First Responder and learned cave rescue. Her first carving experience was at the Ridgway Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous in February 2003, which inspired her to become a full-time carver later that year. Zoe has won numerous competitions, most notably the invitation-only 2008 Coal Mountain Chevy Fest in Bluefield, West Virginia where she took first place. She has also competed internationally, which challenges her to continue to try new things and fuels her dislike for the mundane and the repetitive. Zoe is part of a second generation of chainsaw carvers and one to watch for in the future. Her natural ability and creative intuition is an inspiration to all.
